Dean was a great first boyfriend
Hello! so it is time for another musing on the much-loved; or love-hated show, The Gilmore Girls. This time, it is one of the first significant character we meet in the series, Dean Forester, played by Jared Padlecki (yes the guy from Supernatural). Well, Dean is Rory Gilmore's first boyfriend. She nearly forgoes Chilton for him (this is, however, highly debatable, it could even have been the money issue). Their meet-cute is rather sweet-- high-school, she drops books, he helps her. Them eventually getting together isn't immediate, making the pair quite endearing. Their time together is sweet too, a bit nauseatingly so. But, it is how a first boyfriend, a first relationship is supposed to be too. They hang out nearly everyday together, until, the three-month mark, when he says that he loves her. She freezes and runs away and this, naturally breaks his heart. And, both of them are in the right here. it is natural to feel hurt when one person professes love and the other does...
