Chicken Pahadi Kabab
Now this recipe isn't exactly the one for chicken pahadi kabab. I have added a few spices to the mix which I think have added to the flavour.
Ingredients:300gms boneless chicken.
few sprigs of mint leaves pudina
few sprigs of coriander
2 green chilies
1/2 tsp red chili powder
3/4 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
3-4 tbsp malai or cream
5-6 almonds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp kalonji or onion seeds
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
Method:
Grind all the spices together with the malai.
Marinate chicken in the spice paste for an hour.
Heat oil in a shallow pan and cook the chicken for 10-12 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Serve with naan, roti or bread.

Does it make any difference if we don't have kalonji?

DeleteWell, kalonji or onion seeds will add a certain earthy flavour to the dish. It depends on whether or not you like it that way. I believe, adding subtracting a bit here and there to any recipe will let you discover a new flavour you enjoy. Hope this helps. Enjoy cooking :)
