Indian Spiced Coffee
I had only heard of spiced tea till now, not coffee. So I decided to conduct my own experiment with the spices I thought will go well with coffee. Here's how I brewed mine.
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 pod cardamom
- 1/2 inch cinnamon stick
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 clove
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 heaped tsp of Mysore coffee
- 1 tsp honey or sugar to taste
- In a pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the spices and let it simmer for two minutes.
- Add coffee powder.
- Add milk and honey, strain and serve.
Try having it as your morning cuppa for a feel good for the the rest of the day :)
