Indian Spiced Coffee

I had only heard of spiced tea till now, not coffee. So I decided to conduct my own experiment with the spices I thought will go well with coffee. Here's how I brewed mine.


  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 pod cardamom
  • 1/2 inch cinnamon stick
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 clove
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 heaped tsp of Mysore coffee
  • 1 tsp honey or sugar to taste

  • In a pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the spices and let it simmer for two minutes.
  • Add coffee powder.
  • Add milk and honey, strain and serve.

Try having it as your morning cuppa for a feel good for the the rest of the day :)
